MMF Annual Orchestra Concerts for Schools

Annual Concert 2012 Annual Concert 2012
Each fall as part of MMF's annual Chamber Orchestra Tour, we present two concerts at Manchester's First Congregational Church free of charge to local school children. The 45-minute concerts are a fun-filled musical journey where children learn about orchestral instruments, classical music and composers. The concerts, conducted by MMF's Artistic Director Ariel Rudiakov, attract between 500 and 600 children from as many as twelve area schools each year. Children participate in a lively discussion of each piece and a few lucky students are given an opportunity to conduct the orchestra. We welcome home-schooled children to attend our concerts.

There will be two sessions: 9:30 and 11am on Thursday, September 26, 2013.

The Manchester Chamber Orchestra with conductor Ariel Rudiakov and piano soloist Adam Nieman will present a program of music by Bach, Beethoven, Giannini and the world premiere of a piece written by Adam Nieman.

Please contact MMF to reserve space for your school.
